Mrs. Ella B. Hove, 71, a resident of Hawarden until she moved to Sioux City 19 years ago, died Tuesday in a Sioux City Hospital after suffering a stroke.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock this afternoon (Thursday) at the First Lutheran Church in Sioux City. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden.

She married Conrad Hove in 1913 at Britton, South Dakota. He died in 1945.

Survivors include seven children, Thomas of Breckenridge, Minnesota, Oris of Sioux Falls, James, Harlan, and Conrad of Sioux City, Mrs. Daryl (Betty) Liston of Ireton and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Hitzemann of Worthington, Minnesota; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Hottle of Brampton, Minnesota and Mrs. Louise Cue of Hinesville, Wisconsin, and 13 grandchildren.

A son Harris, twin of Harlan, was killed while serving with the armed forces in 1945. She also was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
