Kenneth Bennett Dies at Age 56
Kenneth Bennett, 56, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, Jan. 23, at the Panska Nursing home where he had been cared for since the death of his sister, Mrs. Mabel Van Allen, last September. Mr. Bennett was born at Chatsworth March 8, 1896. Most of his life was spent in the Chatsworth and Hawarden communities.

After the death of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Bennett, he lived with his sister, Mrs. Van Allen. They lived for 10 years at Huron, ;S. D.., from 1935 to 1945, when they came to Hawarden. Mr. Bennett spent his entire life in a wheel chair. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Hawarden.

He is survived by two brothers, Lester Bennett of Santa Rosa Calif., and Conrad Bennett of Wilmington, Del., and two sisters Mrs. Orin Harris of Akron a Mrs. M. O. Larson of Hawarden Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the Methodist church with Rev. B. Roy Brown officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery at Akron, under the direction of the Frazier Funeral home
