Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Kluis, 68, of Orange City were held Friday, October 2 at the Orange City First Christian Reformed church. The Reverend J. B. Hulst officiated. Burial was in the Orange City cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral home.

Louisa (Vinke) Kluis was born in the Netherlands on November 4, 1895, Mrs. Kluis came to this country ten years ago and was married to Mr. Kluis in that year.

Survivors are the widower, several grandchildren and five stepchildren, Dick Kluis of Maurice; Mrs. Del Grandia of Indian River, Michigen; Arie Kluis of Slayton, Minnesota; Felix Kluis of Chandler Minnesota; and Mrs. William Hulstein of Hull.
