Marion Kredit, 80, of Margate, Florida, died May 5.

Marion Kredit was born in Springfield, South Dakota, August 17, 1909. He married Sylvia Hulstein May 12, 1978. He was preceded in death by his first wife Gertrude (nee Timmer).

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; three sons, Merlin Kredit of Sioux Center, Dennis Kredit of Dunlap and Wendell Kredit of South Holland, Illinois; one brother, William of Champlin, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been designated for Fort Lauderdale Christian School.
