Funeral services for Ida Koch, 85, of Rock Valley and formerly of Lester, will begin at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday in Bethel United Methodist Church in Inwood with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids. Porter Funeral Home of Inwood was in charge of arrangements.

She died Friday, February 17, 1989 in Hegg Memorial Hospital.

Ida Louise Hanson was born December 2, 1903 in Volga, South Dakota. She married Ernest Koch on September 20, 1941 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. They farmed near Lester until their retirement in 1970. Her husband died September 12, 1977. She moved to Valley Manor Nursing Home on August 25, 1980.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, a special cousin and nieces and nephews.
