Simon Kempers Passes Away After Brief Illness
Friday afternoon Simon Kempers passed away at the Hull hospital following a brief illness of gangrenous appendix. He was nearly 60 years old at the time of his death.

Mr. Kempers has made his home near Sioux Center nearly all his life. Until the rtime of his death he was living with his brother James. He is survived by three brothers, Barney, James and John.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Second Christian Reformed Church, with Reverend L.A. Brunsting officiating
