Died: March 19, 1987Richard Keizer, 67, of Sheldon died March 19 at the Northwest Iowa Health Center of Sheldon.
Services were at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, March 21 at the First Christian Reformed Church of Sheldon. The Reverend Jerome Julien officiated. Burial was in the East Lawn Cemetery under the directions of the Andringo Funeral Home of Sheldon.
Pallbearers were Glen Keizer, Arlyn Keizer, Jerry DeGroot, Larry Keizer, Marlyn DeGroot and Rodney Kroeze.
Mr. Keizer, son of William and Hendreka Keizer, was born August 28, 1919 at Orange City. He lived his youth and attended school in the Sioux Center area. He was married to Jacoba Kroeze on January 31, 1947 at Orange City. They lived in Sioux Center, Orange City, and Sheldon. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Sheldon.
He is survived by his wife; three children, Wayne Arlo Keizer of Phoenix, Arizona, Audrey Lynn (Mrs. Ron) Schott of Sanborn, Donna Faye (Mrs. Evan) Blom of Rock Valley; 6 grandchildren; 5 brothers, Gary, John, Herm, all of California, Joe of Texas, Albert of Perkins; 2 sisters, Minnie (Mrs. Don) Toole of California and Henrietta (Mrs. John) Fowler of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a son.
