From the Rock Valley Bee, March 31, 1911:

Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Gerritson mourn the death of their 7-day baby who died Sunday. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of many friends in their neighborhood. Short funeral services were held at the home Tuesday conducted by Rev. J. DeJongh and the remains were buried in the Valley view cemetery.

(The correct spelling of the surname appears to be Gerritsen. The preponderance of names in county sources are spelled this way, including Thomas Gerritsen's obit and cemetery record.)
