Robert C. Klein, 67, of Des Moines, died Tuesday, March 27, in Des Moines. Services were at 2 P.M. Friday, March 30, at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Burial was at Chapel Hill Gardens, Des Moines.

Mr. Klein was born in Hospers. He was a resident of Des Moines since 1948.

Mr. Klein, a retired underwriter for Equitable of Iowa, was a World War II veteran and was a graduate of Drake University. He was a member of Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, uptown Lions Club, Hy-12 Club, and Floyd Lodge No. 537, A.F. &A.M. of Orange City. He was a member of Windsor Presbyterian Church.

His wife, Aileen preceded him in death in 1975.

Survivors include a brother, William C. Klein, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a sister, Henrietta, of Santa Rosa, California, and nieces and nephews.
