Miss Martha Klave, the ten year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Klave, residing southeast of Hawarden, died Tuesday evening at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Onno Johnson, residing northeast of town, after an illness of little over twenty-four hours.

She was taken suddenly ill about four o’clock Monday afternoon while riding in an automobile with other members of the family who were going to the home of Mrs. Johnson for a visit. She was taken to the home of her aunt where she was cared for until she passed away. Her condition was considered very critical from the start, but she improved during the day Tuesday, only to have a sinking spell early in the evening from which she never rallied.

Funeral services will be held at the Lutheran Church in Ireton Friday and interment will be made in the Ireton Cemetery.

The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of everyone in their hour of sorrow.
