Mrs. Aurilla M. Morgan passed away at her home in Seattle, WA, at 8:50 Sunday evening, June 12th. Though she had been in failing health for over a year her death was not expected. Funeral services were held at the Ericson Funeral Home in Seattle last Saturday afternoon with Rev. Fifield of the Plymouth Congregational church in Seattle in charge. Her remains were then brought to Hawarden, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Ethel Morgan. The body arrived Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held at the home of Miss Alpha Lake at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Clay Morris, pastor of the Baptist church, in charge. Burial was made in Grace Hill cemetery beside her husband.

Aurilla Augusta Hart was born in Harrismith, Province of Ontario, Canada, June 9, 1865. When ten years of age she with her parents moved to Correctionville, Iowa, which was then a wild prairie country and there experienced the trials of a middle west pioneer. She was married to James Morgan in Sioux City and she came to Hawarden as a bride to make her home. Seven years later her husband passed away. In 1907, she moved to Seattle where she made her home since that time. Two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Adcock and Miss Ethel Morgan, together with a little granddaughter, Marjorie Adcock, all of Seattle, are left to mourn the lost of a loving and devoted mother. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers. She will me missed by a host of friends and neighbors who always found her a friend in time of need and trouble for she was never happier than when doing for others.

Mr. & Mrs. J. F. March of Vermillion and Miss Mary and George Schlupp of Sioux City attended the funeral services here Wednesday afternoon.
