Mrs. Tillie Moss, 82, of Carmel, Iowa, died at the Nursing Wing in Sioux Center on Sunday, July 21, 1985.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10 A.M. at the Carmel Reformed Church. The Reverend Virgil Dykstra will officiate. Burial will be in the Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Moss, the former Tillie Vander Vliet, was born March 29, 1903, at Sibley, Iowa. She lived her life in the Carmel area. She married Neal Moss on February 9, 1923, in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vander Vliet; her husband, Neal; by two brothers, Henry and Gerrit; and by one grandchild.

Survivors include four sons, Albert of Luverne, Minnesota, Henry and Arthur of Valley Springs, South Dakota, and Elmer of West Union, Iowa; 27 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Walter Vander Vliet of Sheldon, Ed Vander Vliet and Andrew Vander Vliet of Sioux Center, and Cornie Vander Vliet of Luverne, Minnesota; three sisters, Hattie Ver Mulm and Winnie Ver Mulm of Rock Valley, and Mina De Jong of Montevideo, Minnesota.
