Mrs. Lena H. Moss, age 92, of Hull, passed away Saturday, March 10, at the Country View Manor in Sibley.

Lena was born November 3, 1891, at Hull, the daughter of Henry J. Huibregtse and Minnie Hartmaan Huibregtse. She attended the Hull Public School, graduating in 1907. She then was a telephone operator in Hull, a depot agent in Montana, and a clerk at the First National Bank of Hull.

On October 15, 1919, she married Jacob Moss at Hull. They farmed west of Hull until 1950, when they moved into town. In July of 1973, Mr. and Mrs. Moss became residents of the Good Samaritan Center in George. Mr. Moss passed away October 16, 1973. In September of 1976, Mrs. Moss transferred to the Country View Manor.

She was a charter member of the American Reformed Church and had been active in Reformed Church Women.

Survivors include her four children; Henry C. of Hull, Mrs. Harold (Theresa) Post of Sibley, Arthur J. of Hull, and Mrs. N.A. (Esther) Wilson of Rolfe; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Minnie De Groot of Sioux Center; and brother, Everett of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by a grandson, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 14, at the American Reformed Church in Hull, with the Reverend Herman Van Galen officiating. Interment followed at Hope Cemetery in Hull, under the direction of Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home of Hull.
