Lorraine Loffredo, 64, formerly of Rock Valley, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 1990 in her home in Cardiff-By-The-Sea, California.

Lorraine Vande Weerd was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Rock Valley. She married Michael Loffredo October 26, 1945, in Luverne, Minnesota. They lived in Rock Valley until 1952, when they moved to Oklahoma. They lived in New Mexico before moving to California in 1954 and Cardiff-By-The-Sea in 1977. She was a property auditor for the U.S. Defense Department until illness forced her retirement in June.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 7 in Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
