Born: March 26, 1894 Sioux Center, Iowa
Died: December 7, 1968 Elkhorn, Wis.

Funeral services were held at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Clinton, IA at 1:30 p.m. Sat. Dec. 7 for Dick Kruizenga, 74, former Sioux Center resident, a retired farmer, who died at the Lakeland Hospital of Elkhorn, Wis.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Leroy Sandee and burial was made at Clinton.

He farmed in the Clinton-Darian area for a time prior to his retirement in 1958.

Mr. Kruizenga was born in Sioux Center, March 26, 1894, the son of Dick and Dena (Werkman) Kruizenga. He married Hattie Van Wyhe at Perkins Sept. 4, 1919.

He was a World War I veteran.

Survivors include his widow; five sons, Eugene of Emerald, Erwin of Clinto, Alfred of Sharon, Melvin of Star Prairie and Glenn of Darien; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Hahn, Jr, of Clinton; two brothers, John of Sioux Center and Peter of Orange City; a sister, Mrs. J. H. Rozeboom of Sioux Center; 24 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
