Ronald H. Becker, 68, of rural Ireton, died Friday, Feb. 15, 1985, in a Sioux City hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, in St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Ireton. The Rev. Nathan Brandt officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of Dow Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Allen Bertram, Larry Bertram, Ronald Kallsen, Gene Becker, Van Stewart and Douglas Mc Dougal. .

Mr. Becker was born May 20, 1916, in rural Ireton. He graduated from Loras High School in 1932. He farmed in Reading Township near Ireton. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He married Amy Mentzer Aug. 10, 1937, in Papillion, NE. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Judy) Keffeler, of Madison, SD; one son, Dan of Omaha, NE; three grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Gladys Flieger of Maurice.
