Christina Marx Miss Christina Marx, 98, of Granville died Sunday, Feb. 24,1985, in the Happy Siesta Retirement Home in Remsen after a brief illness. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen. The Rev. Le Roy Seuntjens officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Granville under direction of Fisch Funeral Home in Remsen.

Miss Marx was born Oct. 28,1886, at Granville where she was raised and educated. She worked as a domestic housekeeper in the Granville area until 1932 and then in the Le Mars and surrounding areas. She retired in 1964 and moved to Le Mars. She had lived at the retirement home in Remsen since June 1,1982. Miss Marx was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Granville and the Christian Mothers of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Le Mars.
Survivors include a sister, Miss Ferd (Anna) Gaul of Hawarden.
