Job Morris, an early day resident of Hawarden, passed away Nov. 19th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. J. Grady, at Colfax, Washington at the advance age of 94 years. His death was due mainly to the infirmities of his years although he was sick for about five weeks preceding his death. Burial was made at Colfax, Washington.
Mr. Morris operated a dray line in Hawarden for many years in the early days of the town and lived in the home now occupied by Mr. & Mrs. Hal Colby. He left here about thirty-one years ago and after brief periods of time spent in Topeka, Kansas, and in Wisconsin, went to Washington where he has since made his home, most of the time with his daughter, Mrs. Grady. Besides Mrs. Grady he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Percival Wilson of Ellensburg, Washington, and Nan M. Disbrow of Hawarden, and one son, Jay Morris of Philadelphia, PA.
