Mrs. Allie Luurs, 63 years of age died Tuesday, August 23, 1960 at a hospital in Cherokee following a lingering illness.

She was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Peter Huizinga and was born at Paterson, New Jersey on Feb. 11, 1897. The past 30 years she lived in Cherokee. In 1917 she married Mr. Jacob Luurs. Mr. Luurs preceded her in death.

Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Andrew Hibma of Hull.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, at 1:30 p.m., from the Little Chapel in Sioux Center. Rev. H. C. Van Deelen will officiate.

Burial will be in the Hope Cemetery at Hull.
