Died: December 27, 1989 Sioux Center, Iowa

Tracy Prins, 79 of Sioux Center died Tues. Dec. 27 at the Sioux Center Hospital Wing.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thurs. Dec. 29 at Carmel Reformed Church at Carmel with the Rev. Virgil Dykstra officiating. Burial was in the Carmel Cemetery.

Born Tracy Remmerde June 29, 1909 in Carmel, she lived her youth and attended school there. She married John M. Prins Dec. 21, 1926, in Carmel. They lived at rural Rock Valley until they moved into Sioux Center in March 1970.

She was a lifelong member of Carmel Church and a member of the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include two daughter, Rosanna Klarenbeek of Sheldon and Lenore Prins of Sioux Center; three sons, Martin Prins of Ireton, Melvin Prins of Lakewood, CA. and Stanley Prins of Sioux Center; a sister Tilda Van Berkum of Rock Valley, two brothers, Rob Remmerde of Sioux Center and John Remmerde of Rock Valley; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
