Arthur Peelen, 87, died Wed. May 26, 1999 in Jenison, Michigan.

Peelen was a son of Herman and Engelina (Te Grotenhuis) Peelen. He lived the early years of his life in the Sioux Center community.

Survivors include his widow, Helene; his daughter and son-in-law, Anne Marie and Roger Roode; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Grace (Mrs. Sam T.) Schutt.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Jacob, Matthew and William; and three sisters, Jeanette (Mrs. Frank) Punt, Anna Marie Peelen and Leona (Mrs. Henry) Vermeer.
