M. Schmucker received a message Saturday advising him of the death of his father, Levi Schmucker at Mount Morris, IL. Mr. Schmucker was taken ill last Wednesday. Mr. Schmucker's mother is also critically ill and all hopes for her recovery have been given up. She is in an unconscious condition and does not even know of her husband's death. Mr. Schmucker had reached the advanced age of 87 years, while Mrs. Schmucker is 85 years old. Mr. Schmucker was unable to go to Illinois to attend his father's funeral.
