From the Hawarden Independent, February 22, 1906:

Two of the Triplets Dead
The sympathy of the entire community is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Pocklington in the loss of two of the triplets born to them three weeks ago. One passed away Tuesday afternoon and the other Tuesday night. The first one to pass away had been very delicate from birth and but little hopes had been entertained for it at any time. The other one seemed to be a reasonably healthy babe until a day or two before its death.
They were both laid to rest in the same grave in Grace Hill cemetery yesterday afternoon.

The 1900 U.S. Census shows Oliver Pocklington (25, born Jan. 1875 in Minnesota), a saloon porter, living with wife Jessie (17, born Aug. 1882 in Iowa) and widowed sister Alice L. Rose (28) in Sioux City, Iowa. The 1905 Iowa state census shows O. C. Pocklington with Jessie, Irene, Harold, and Albert Pocklington and, apparently, Mary L. Terrill, living in Hawarden, Iowa. By 1910, and thereafter, the family is living in Los Angeles, California.

Family tree information on Ancestry.com shows Oliver Christopher Pocklington (Jan. 1875, Minnesota - Feb. 1968, Los Angeles) and Jessie Meierstein (born 1883, Iowa) as the parents of six children: Irene (b. 1902), Harold (b. 1905), Leona I. (b. 1912), and Harry, Richard and Royal, all with life dates 1906-1907. A photo of Royal, possibly post-mortem, appears to be about a year old.
