Loretta Schutz, 90, of Rock Valley died Tuesday, November 11, 1986 in a hospital in Rock Valley.

Services were held Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Donald R. Smith and the Rev. William Wingert officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Schutz, the former Loretta Jammer, was born July 4, 1896, at Rock Rapids. She attended Rock Rapids public school and a business school in Des Moines. She married Raymond Schutz, October 36, 1920, in Sioux Falls, SD. They had lived in Rock Valley since 1922 where he was a doctor of chiropractic. He died January 9, 1975.

Mrs. Schutz was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and St. Mary's Guild.

Survivors include two sons, Ray M. of Aberdeen, SD, and Terence W. of St. Michael, MN; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Viola) Wilson of Leawood, Kan.; four sisters, Luelle Julian of Flandreau, SD; Mrs. George (Dorothy) Sauer of Laguna Beach, CA; Mrs. Earl (Emily) Fisher of Rock Rapids, and Mrs. Edward (Viola) Larson of Kansas City, MO; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
