Cornelia "Kay" Feekes, 95, of Rock Valley died Tuesday, December 14, 1993, at Valley Manor in Rock Valley. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Cannel Reformed Church wild the Rev. Brad Langstraat officiating. Burial was in the Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center.

Mrs. Feekes was bom Jan. 14, 1898, in Sioux Center, the daughter of Evert and Nellie (Remmerde) Hulshof. She lived in the Carmel vicinity and attended rural school in the Carmel area.

On March 26, 1919, she married William Feekes at her parents home near Rock Valley, the couple lived in the Camel area until they moved to Valley Manor in April 1979. He died in 1986.

Mrs. Feekes was a member of the Cannel Reformed Church, rural Rock Valley.

Survivors include four daughters, Catherine and her husband, Peter Moerman of Tucson, Ariz., Nellie Van Der Vliet of Rock Valley, Edna Van Abbema of Rock Valley and Mina and her husband, Melvin Mouw of Sioux Center; two sons, Ted of Rock Valley and John and his wife, Jeanette of Sioux Center; 32 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and many greatgreat- grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
