Mrs. John Feekes, 93, of Rock Valley died Tuesday, April 20 in a hospital at Rock Valley. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the First Reformed Church. The Rev. Gordon Bloemendaal officiated. Burial was in the Carmel Cemetery. Family visitation was from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Funeral Home at Sioux Center.

Mrs. Feekes, the former Henrietta Van De Vooren, was born Dec. 18, 1888, in the Netherlands. She came to the United States as an infant with her parents. She married John Feekes March 1, 1909, in Orange City. The couple farmed near Rock Valley. He died in 1960.

She moved to Rock Valley in 1967. Mrs. Feekes was a member of the First Reformed Church of Rock Valley.

Survivors include two sons, Theodore J. of Canton, S.D, and Henry of Sioux Center; two daughters, ,Mrs. John (Marian) Schoep of Maynard, Minn, and Mrs. Everette (Catherine) Van Der Vliet of Sioux Center; 29 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren and six great-greatgrandchildren.
