WAS BORN IN NETHERLANDS—died at Hull last week.
CAME TO UNITE0 STATES in 1892

Mrs. Rein Fikse passed on at her home in Sioux Center last Thursday afternoon. She was 57 years or age last March. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home and at Central church, with Rev. A. Everkamp In charge.

Mrs. Fikse, whose maiden came was Gertrude Vanden Berg, was born in The Netherlands. In 1872 she came to the United States and was married at Paterson, NJ , in February of that year to Mr. Fikse, They lived in Paterson twelve years and came to Sioux Center in 1901, making their home here since that time.

Mrs. Fikse is survived by her husband and one son, Eibert Fikse, of Sioux Center, and by two brothers living In the Netherlands. She will be held in loving remembrance for her many kindnesses by neighbors and friends, who sympathize deeply with the sorrowing family
