BOYDEN, Iowa | Harriet (DeValois) Warne, 89, of Billings, Mont., formerly of Boyden, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at a Billings hospital.

She was born near Boyden and graduated from Boyden High School.

She married Earl Warne in 1945. Harriet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She taught elementary school grades for many years.

Survivors include three children, David (Roxie) Warne of Billings, Becky (Jim) Shepard of Boise, Idaho, and Mark (Evelyn) Warne of Denver, Colo.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Wynia of Rock Valley, Iowa, and Merry Wissink of Madison, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; and parents, Anna and Edgar DeValois
