Dina Wiekamp, 87, of Rock Valley died Monday, April 18, at Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley with the Rev. G. M. de Leeuw officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Mrs. Wiekamp was born May 7, 1917, near Rock Valley, the daughter of John and Ella (Kastein) Kleyn. She married John Wiekamp on February 22, 1946, at the homestead. They farmed southeast of Rock Valley and later southeast of Inwood, retiring to Rock Valley in 1978. He died September 3, 2001. She had lived at Valley Manor since August 1999.

She is survived by two sons, Gerrit (Carol) Wiekamp of Sanborn and John (Bernice) Wiekamp Jr. of Inwood; a daughter, Alma (Arlan) Verburg of Rock Valley; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grand children.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter; brothers, Dick, Ben and Cornelius Kleyn; and sisters, Fredrika Gerritsen, Cornelia Hofland, Lena Kruid, Grace Kleyn, Jennie Van Veldhuizen, Elizabeth Fluit and Marie Kleyn.
