August 30, 1997—August 30. 1997

Grant William Hooyer, infant son of Gregg and Brenda (Feenstra) Hooyer of Sioux Center, died shortly after birth on Saturday, August 30, at a Sioux Falls hospital. Memorial services were Friday at 2:3.0 p.m., at, Covenant Christian Reformed, Church, in Sioux Center, with the Rev. Daniel De Groot officiating. Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents; three sisters, Hannah, Heather and Holly, all at home; grandparents. Tony and Lois Hooyer of Sioux Center and Alvln and Margaret Feenstra of Stickney, South Dakota; paternal great-grandmother, Bertha Vander Lugt. of Sioux Center; and maternal great-grandmother, Ella Hoekman, of Rock Valley.
