Johanna B. Krull, 85, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at Bethany Lutheran Home. .Funeral services were April 17 at Community Reformed Church, Sioux Falls. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ireton.

Johanna Berdina Schiebout, daughter of Herman and Jenny (DeGroot) Schiebout was born Nov. 11,1918 at Ireton. She was raised and educated there, attending Ireton Christian School and later helped out in the family household. In 1941 she married Peter Sinkey in Ireton where they operated their own farm and made their home. They later moved to Hawarden. After Peter's death on Dec. 28,1977, Johanna moved to Sioux Falls. She married Gay G. Krull on Dec. 6, 1980, in Sioux Falls, where she was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Gay Krull of Sioux Falls; two daughters, Patricia Reno of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, and Linda Ashley of Denver, Colo.; five brothers, Ben Schiebout and Chris Schiebout both of Orange City, Herman Schiebout of Denver, Bill Schiebout of Loveland, Colo., Abe Schiebout of Pipestone, Minn.; four sisters, Lena Vanderlaun of Orange City, Ann Van Bruggen, and Adri Ruisch both of Ireton, and Geraldine Van Boorst of Sioux Center,; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Peter Sinkey; and two brothers, Ferd Schiebout and Henry Schiebout.
