Daryl Moeller, 69, of rural Ireton died suddenly on Friday, Sept. 3,2004 at the Sioux Center Community Hospital. Funeral Service were Sept. 7 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton with the Rev. Todd Bunge officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton. Porter Funeral Home in Ireton was in charge of arrangements.

Daryl E. Moeller was born June 19,1935 near Ireton the son of Pete and Henrietta (Witt) Moeller. He was baptized at his home. Daryl served with the US Army in the 2nd Army Division in Germany from 1958 to 1960. He followed in the US Army Reserves for seven years. Daryl farmed near Ireton and was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton. He also had a membership in the Amvet Post #129 of Ireton.

He is survived by two brothers, Raymond and Lowell of Ireton and a sister, Vivian Bultman of Hawarden. Daryl was preceded in death by three brothers, Lyle, Melvin and Dean; and two sisters, Violet Moeller as a child and Verna
Schlumbohm. Memorials may be directed to the Lutheran Tape Ministries.
