Harry Gunnink, 77, of Graham, Washington, formerly of Hull, died Wednesday, October 3, 2001, at his residence.

Memorial services were held Saturday, October 6, in Graham. His remains were cremated for later burial at sea by the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Gunnink was born October 20, 1923, in Hull, the son of William and Winnie (Rikkers) Gunnink. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1941 to 1945.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Thoma) Gunnink; a daughter and her husband, Sally and Andy Meyers; three grandchildren; and three brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James; a brother, Richard; and two sisters, Esther and Ruby.
