Mrs. William De Stigter, 78, of 211 Vista Court, Sioux City, Iowa, died Thursday in Matney Westside Manor after a long illness.

Services were at 11 A.M. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. James D. Knapp officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center. Visitation was from 3 to 9 P.M. Friday in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. De Stigter, the former Grace Kruizenga, was born July 8, 1906, in Sioux Center. She married William De Stigter December 18, 1970, in Sioux Center. They made their home in Sioux City.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; a step-son, Robert De Stigter of Sioux City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Maynard (Charlotte) Frank of Hinton, Iowa and Mrs. Albert (Ivadell) Doubek of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two half sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Wynja of Ireton, Iowa and Mrs. Minnie Caswell of Hull, Iowa.
