From the Rock Valley Bee, November 20, 1903:
The little daughter of William Rabe, who lives northeast of Hull, was choked to death Wednesday afternoon by getting a bone lodged in her throat.

Rappe or Rabbe, Child of William buried in Greenwood Cemetery Matlock IA. Listed as Rappe with no dates. Also see obit of Rabe, Anna 1900 -1903 child of William and Lizzie of Matlock.

Added Research note:
From a report on ancestry.com (by others) Anna’s parents were: Friedrick Wilhelm ‘William’ Rabbe was born 19 Jun 1861 West Fallon, Germany died 26 May 1943 Beltrami, MN. Wife Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Lehr 1872-1958. They were married in Missouri, and lived there for several years. Their daughter Anna was born 5 Aug 1901 and died in Lynn Township, Sioux County IA. She died 11 Nov 1903 Sioux Co. IA. The next child Minerva was also born in Sheridan Twp, Sioux County IA. It appears the family then moved on to Pipestone Co. MN and later Beltrami, MN.
