From the Rock Valley Bee, November 20, 1903:
William Woodall of Maurice died Nov. 7. He has lived in this county since 1884.

(Submitter found no additional obituary information in other area newspapers. The Sioux County Cemetery Index has "Woodall, Wm, b. 10 Aug 1818, d. 6 Nov 1903, Pleasant Hill Cem Ireton IA." The obituary of his wife Mary, who died in 1910 (separately posted), gives her name as Mary Eden; she and William married in 1849 in Emmenbrough, England; came to the U.S. in 1851; lived several places before coming to Maurice; gives the names of their surviving children.)
