Died: November 2, 2000 Lyon County, Iowa

Angie Brouwer, 17, of Sioux Center died Thursday Nov. 2, in Lyon County.

Services were Mon. Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. at First Reformed Church, Sioux Center, with the Rev. Greg Alderman officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Sioux Center.

A eulogy was given by Rod Schutte, Angie's cousin Chrissy Brouwer sang "If You Could See Me Now" and organist was Virginia Vermeer.

Angie Brouwer was born to Marv and Doris Brouwer on Nov. 26, 1982 in Sioux Center. She was a sr. at Sioux Center Community High School. She worked part time at the Pizza Ranch. She was a member of the Sioux Center High School band, choir, SADD, First Reformed RCYF, Edge Ministries and the Youth Praise Team at First Reformed Church. She was a baptized member of First Reformed Church.

She enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved going boating with her family, going on RCYF trips and spending time with her friends. She was a very special daughter and sister, a sweet loving girl, always smiling, who filled her family's life with joy.

Survivors include her parents; one brother, Tyler; grandparents, John and Vera Brouwer of Maurice and Jeanette Gorter of Doon; aunts and uncles, Glen and Shari Brouwer, Betty and Garret Visser, Ruth and Brett Flemming, Darrell Gorter, Dennis and Tracy Gorter; and cousins, Anitra and Chrissy Brouwer, Erin Flemming, Luke Lathrop, Allie and Josh Gorter.

She was preceded ini death by her grandfather, Lawrence Gorter; and her uncle, Kevin Gorter.
