Sharon Kaye Haan, 48, of Sioux Center died Friday, July 19, at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, July 22, at Faith Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center with the Rev. Clifford Hoekstra officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens in Sioux Center.

The former Sharon Visser was born October 19, 1942, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She married Elson Haan November 25, 1964, In Sioux Center.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ethan Elson Haan of Sioux Center; three daughters. Dawn Renee Schoep. Sheila Mae Haan and Sherry Lynn Haan, all of Sioux Center; her mother, Cornelia Visser of Holland, Michigan; three sisters, Jan Timmer and Beverly Vander Wilk, both of Holland, and Maria Christians of Ames; two brothers, Marvin Visser of Holland and Scott Visser of Zeeland, Michigan; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Seth Allan Haan. and her father, Marvin Visser.
