Kenneth Sage, 73, of Rock Valley, died Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Hillcrest Care Center in Hawarden. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley. The Rev. Stuart Pastine officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Mr. Sage was born Dec. 18, 1911, in Martin County, Minnesota. He married Virginia Nash on Nov. 30, 1935, in Truman, Minn. He was a construction worker in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa until retiring and moving to Rock Valley in 1975. Mrs. Sage died Sept. 4,1983.

Survivors include two sons, Henry of Rock Valley, and David of Carthage, Mo.;two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Evelyn) Todd, of Carthage, and Mrs. Dave (Ruth) Hoogland of Sanborn, and 11 grandchildren.
