Ester Beernink, (nee DeBoer) 68, of Sioux Center died Wednesday, December 7, 1988 at her home in Sioux Center.

Services were held Sunday at the Vander Ploeg Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Wilcox officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Bernink was born February 2, 1920, at Sioux Center. She married William R. Beernink September 18, 1944, in Kansas City, Kansas. He died April 25, 1987, in Sioux Center.

Survivors include a son, Scott Beernink of Sioux Center; two daughters, Mrs. David (Victoria) Levinson of Settle, Washington, and Mrs. Albert (Marilyn) Slavik of Olathe, Kansas, and a grandchild, Molly Bea Beernink of Sioux Center.
