Funeral services for Mrs. John (Hilda) De Ruyter of Rock Valley were held Thursday at 1 P.M. at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home and at 1:30 P.M. at the Rock Valley First Christian Reformed Church with Rev. C. Huissen officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons.Mrs. De Ruyter was born February 24, 1890, in the Netherlands.

Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Francis Mc Queen of London, Minnesota; Mrs. Charles Andrie of Sioux City, Mrs. John Visser of Sioux Center, Mrs. Marie Hunter of Huntington Park, California; Mrs. George Burgers of Canton, South Dakota, and Mrs. Jake Oostra of Rock Valley ; three sons, Dick of Rock Valley; Dan of Manteca, California, and Neal of Gary, Minnesota, and 24 grandchildren.
