Mrs. George Goodrich, 39, of Hawarden was killed in a car accident near Alcester about 7 o'clock Sunday evening.

Six other persons were injured in the two car collision at an intersection two miles northwest of Alcester. They are: Mr. Goodrich, who suffered multiple contusions, abrasions and lacerations: Cynthia Hendricks, 10, mild concussion, numerous cuts and bruises; Roger Olson, 10, minor lacerations and contusions; Mary Jane Goodrich, 2 1/2 and Jolene Aldrup, 12, who were released from the Hawarden hospital after examination, and Mrs. Charles Asper, about 60, of Canton, a fractured collar bone, cuts and bruises.

Mr. Goodrich was released from the hospital Wednesday and Cynthia and Roger were scheduled to return home today (Thursday).

The attending physician said that all of the victims suffered from shock but it was later determined that there were no internal injuries.

Mrs. Asper, lone occupant of the other car was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Goodrich were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Barnard Funeral Home, Rev. Paul Williams officiating.

Casket bearers were Ralph Bruget, Elmer Ericson, Victor Wiksen, Harold Larson, Tom Burke and Elner Wiksen. Burial was at Grace Hill cemetery.

Agnes Olson was born at Craig, Neb., June 10, 1918, a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Bernard Olson. She came to Hawarden with her parents in 1929, where she had since resided.

In 1944 she married Harold Aldrup to which union one child was born. He was killed in an auto accident in 1956. She married George Goodrich in 1949 and they made their home with her parents.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Jolene, a son, Roger, and an infant daughter, Mary Jane; her parents; a brother, Bernard Lloyd Olson of Long Island, NY, and her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles O. Swanson, all of Hawarden.
