Howard Harman, 76, of Boyden died suddenly Friday, Nov. 22, at his home in Boyden. Services were at 2 p.m. in the United Presbyterian Church in Boyden on Monday, Nov. 25. The Rev. Daniel officiated. Burial was in the Boyden Cemetery under the direction of Memorial funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mr. Harman was born April 18, 1909, in Boyden and attended rural school in the Boyden area. He married Wilhelmina Van Roekel Jan. 22, 1936; near Boyden. They farmed in the Boyden area all their married life. She died May 27,1967. Mr. Harman was a member of United Presbyterian Church and past trustee of the church. He was a former board member of the Farmer's Co-operative of Boyden.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Arlene) De Jong of Orange City; a son, Lester of Hull; two brothers, Melvin of Princeton, Minn., and Kenneth of Slayton, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Simon (Irene) Vander Lee and Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Riemer, both of Lake Wilson, Minn., and seven grandchildren.
