Mrs. Van Otterloo Victim of Stroke Dies Suddenly Here Thursday, July 21 Funeral services were held Monday, August 25, for Mrs. Steven Van Otterloo at the First Christian Reformed church here. Mrs. Van Otterloo died suddenly Thursday, July 21, after suffering a stroke. Rev. A. Dusseljee officiated at the funeral service and special music was sung by a mixed quartet.

Pallbearers were Arnold Van Es, Leo Starkenburg, Harold Van Otterloo, Donald Ter Haar, Gerrit Draayer and Delmar Kool. Burial was in the Orange City cemetery with Van Etten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Adrianna Van Ootterloo was born November 21, 1902, in Rock Valley. She was the daughter of John and Tena Van Otterloo. She married Steven Van Otterloo on March 3, 1926. They have lived in Orange City since 1943. He is employed at –Silent Sioux.

Survivors include her husband and the following children: Bud Van Otterloo of Orange City: Mrs. Robert Black of Sioux City,Corporal Stanley Van Otterloo of Gatesville, Texas, Mrs. Robert. Groen of Orange City, LeRoy, Norman and Audrey, at home. Her mother, Mrs. John Van Otterloo, also survives. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Joan. Mrs. Van Otterloo was a member of the First Christian Reformed church.

(Adrianna's parents were John S. Van Otterloo 1871-1930 and Teuntje 'Tenie or Tena' Struijk 1878-1969.)
