Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Richter mourn the loss of their little son Clarence aged only two months. The baby died Monday forenoon of inflammation of the kidneys [nephritis, probably]. The funeral was held Wednesday morning from the Catholic church and was very largely attended. The sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved parents.

The Sioux County Cemetery Index has Richter, Clarence, b. 1898 d. 1899 [a transcription error?], St. Marys Cemetery, Rock Valley.

The little four month old child of Mr. and Mrs. William Richter living north of town, died on Sunday last. The funeral was held here Tuesday.

The Sioux County Cemetery Index has William F. Richter b. 1853 d. 1936, St. Marys Cem Rock Valley; and Mary Richter b. 1858 d. 1926.
The obit of Mary Richter (separately posted) shows her as having had nine children, four of whom died in infancy, the other five being named in the obit.
