One After Another

As mentioned in our last issue, death has again entered the home of a former resident of Hull--one who while living here, had the good will of practically everyone that knew him--W. H. Steinberg, of Monmouth, Oregon.

Mr. Steinberg moved to Hull in the fall of 1883, and here the greater number of his children were born to him. About sixteen ears ago death entered his home and carried away his daughter Myra. In 1905 or 1906 he removed with his family to Oregon and in but a few months he was called upon to bring the remains of his bright and manly son Harry back to the old home for burial.

And this was not all his troubles, then for just five weeks after his sad trip here, with the remains of his son, he was called upon to make another with those of his dear and beloved wife. This left him with the care of four dear young daughters to raise and educate, and to his great credit he had, and was, accomplishing the task.

But again death has entered his home, this time taking Miss Orrie from the arms of her father and sisters. Miss Orrie would have been twenty years of age had she lived till the 28th of the present month--was a bright and winsome lady, loved by all who knew her and her taking away is a sad blow to her family and friends, and among the latter is Mr. Will Burton, of McMindle, Oregon, to whom she was betrothed and to whom she was to be married next year. Mr. Burton is a teacher of psychology, a gentleman of ability, but his life has been darkened by the death of his beloved.
