James Searle
James W. R. Searle, 81, died December 29, 1983, in Portland, OR. Funeral services were held January 3, 1984, at Caldwell Mortuary to Portland.

He was born on September 12, 1902. Mr. Searle was raised on a farm east of Hawarden and graduated from Hawarden High School. He also graduated from the University of Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jan, who died in 1961; two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his nephew, William Heubrock, Hawarden; and three nieces, Mary Turner, Le Mars; May Frerichs, Maurice; and Florence Lamb, Santa Rosa, CA.
