On Saturday last at his home west of town occurred the death of Casper Baysinger, an old and respected resident of this county. Mr. Baysinger has been ill for some time, of cancer of the liver. He leaves surviving him three daughters, one son and a wife. The interment took place here on Sunday, services being held at the Methodist Church. Mr. Baysinger was a prosperous farmer and owned one of the best places in this locality, and leaves his family in good circumstances. The funeral was very largely attended. The deceased was held in the highest esteem by all his friends and acquaintances.

His wife, Mary Jane (Wilson) Baysinger, died 18 February 1913. Her obituary (posted separately) gives the names of their children.
