From the Sioux County Bee and Rock Valley Register, October 28, 1897:

Mr. and Mrs. John Van Dooley were called upon to part with their youngest child Saturday. The little one was laid to rest in the cemetery Sunday afternoon. The sympathy of all are with them in their hour of bereavement.
