Relatives here received word Monday evening of the death of Clarice Joan, 18 year old daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Gerrit John Rozeboom of Coopersville, Michigan, who was killed instantly in a car accident at about 6 P.M. Monday.

Clarice Joan who was a freshman student at Hope College, at Holland, had spent the week-end in the parental home. Her parents had taken her back to Holland that afternoon and had just returned when the message came. A group of young people were on their way to attend a class party, when the car in which she was riding was struck by a truck. None of the others were seriously injured.

Besides her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Luella (Mrs. Eddie Mulder) of Holland, Michigan, Mary Lee and a brother, James at home.

Funeral services will be held at Coopersville on Thursday afternoon, February 5. Leaving from here to attend were Mr. and Mrs. Art Franken, Mr. and Mrs. Jake G. Vermeer and Mr. and Mrs. John Cleveringa.
